...I just want to say a big thank you on my behalf for all the hard work you have put into the show and how grateful I am for it and how much I appreciate it. I thoroughly enjoyed doing the show and even all the preparation work beforehand in order to make the day such a big success. Now the only problem is I’m not getting any sleep till rather late because I lay awake thinking of the show and how much I want to be up there again doing something I really love. It churns me up inside and brings a tear to my eye every time I think back to the show day and hearing all the songs we sang and danced to. My family and friends were able to watch and support me doing something I love. It really did mean so much. I can’t wait to get started on the next show and see what you have got in store for us. I feel as though since I started at Starlight Theatre School, I have gained a lot more confidence in myself and not just in my performing. I have got a lot better at dance and choreography. In drama I’ve learnt to just go for it and not care what others think. In singing I’ve gained a lot more confidence to do solos. I’m really looking forward to coming back next term and having yet another great year of singing, acting and dancing and I’m really proud to be a part of Starlight. It’s the one place where I have met new people, that I have felt loved and respected, and a place where I can go and do something I love without being judged. I feel I can talk to any one of you and I thank you for that. Since being here I have a lot more confidence and I have benefited in each subject from different techniques and different teachers. I really enjoy coming and will stay on as long as I can. The teachers treat each and every one fairly and take into account ideas and opinions. I would advise anyone interested in being a performer to come along, as I feel I have benefited a lot and will help pursue my future dream…
